Sanskriti Dance and Yoga Center, also known as Sanskriti Arts, began in 2003, with small and mostly private classes. Now, in 2010, Sanskriti Arts operates at studio locations across the GTA, including Scarborough, Richmond Hill, Downtown Toronto, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Milton and Hamilton, providing group and private training in Bollywood and Indian folk dances (including Kathak, Bhangra, Giddha, Rajasthani, Lavni, Garba, Raas, and more…), Bollywood Fitness classes, and Yoga for kids and rehabilitation.

Students at Sanskriti are vibrant, dynamic, graceful, and just love to dance. Many cultural backgrounds can be seen in Sanskriti classes as students come from various ethnicities and countries around the world. Today, Sanskriti Arts has grown to more than a Bollywood dance school. The Sanskriti Arts Professional Development Program provides professional training to dedicated individuals in pursuit of excellence in Bollywood and Indian Folk dance training. This Professional Development program produces highly trained dancers to perform as members of the Sanskriti Arts Ensemble.
